Streaking, Part II

My brother reminded me today about the post I had last year after the JTIII debut in Jacksonville. There hasn't been as much talk this year about the supposed "streak", but I did see it mentioned in 4 or 5 articles today. Read last year's post and you'll see why it NOT a streak.

During last week's postgame show, Dooley made a point to discuss the recent lack of success against the Gators by talking about the historical periods of success each team has had against the other. Like everything, it's cyclical. Florida fans seem to forget that Georgia had a pretty good "streak" going in the 70's and 80's, and that Georgia still owns the series, and will for quite some time.

It's not a streak people. Get over it. Time to reverse the cycle.
